Henrik Trygg is one of the few photographers who really sees the brand DNA and the visual quality already through his lens. Henrik leads the photo and video creation work here at Nordic Brand Support.

Working with both still, video and drone shots, he easily fills and can update visual content libraries for brands – more efficiently than anyone else we have ever worked with. Henrik has great experience in outdoor photography and has even been featured in some of the coolest National Geographic click-successes ever.

The Isolated Cinema

When the 2020 global pandemic shuttered the Gothenburg Film Festival's theaters for the first time in 40+ years, the event shifted entirely online. How can you build buzz around another digital festival in a digital world and draw global interest to rank among the top ten worldwide?

Instead of seeing the effects of isolation as a problem, the film festival chose to embrace them. When the festival theme “Social distances” was launched in the autumn of 2020, The Isolated Cinema was also launched. An isolated cinema at the far end of the sea in one of Sweden’s most barren, windswept and exposed places – Pater Noster. The film festival then challenged the world to apply for the only festival pass available. And the world accepted the challenge. By storm.

The communication strategy was to reach out to a broader target group than the usual festival goers. With the initiative, Stendhals wanted to awaken media’s curiosity beyond the cultural verticals – and the interest shown exceeded all expectations.

With no media budget, over 3000 articles were published by renowned outlets like CNN, BBC, CBS, Fox News, The New York Times, Al Jazeera, generating 8.5 billion media impressions and $84.8 million in earned media. The campaign attracted 12,000 applicants from 65 countries and set a record with 300,000 virtual festival visits.

Every year, 120.000 people even google the question: "Are Sweden and Switzerland the same?". Determined to end the confusion once and for all, Sweden is now proposing action. The proposal from Sweden aims to make the distinction between the two countries clear, thus ending the ongoing confusion.
